THE GOOD: Buccos catcher Ryan Doumit inked a 5-year, 27 mil extension on Monday.

THE BAD: Pirate president Frank Coonelly (THE UGLY) said Doumit is most likely the last big off-season signing the club will make. NateDogg doesn't want to talk about a multi-year extension and PaulMahl's agent hasn't returned a call in weeks. However, the Buccos are talking with rightfielder Rocco Baldelli who spent last year with the Rays. He hasn't played over 100 games since 2004 and has hit 25 homeruns in the last three years combined...so look to see him in black-and-gold this season.
